Teaching good habits to kids is important for every parent to raise them in the correct direction. Doing things regularly turn into habits, and these habits help in creating or building the character of your child. Children are very attentive to their environment. 1. Eating Healthy and Well: Good healthy eating habits for children are of utmost importance in the formative years. As they are growing they need to have good and healthy food. Sometimes it may be difficult for the parents to make food tasty and healthy side by side but the key is you should make the food look appealing to your child. Keep them away from junk food or unhealthy outside food. Make them aware of the ill effects of eating unhealthy food and help them in making the right food choices for the right growth.

2. Outdoor Activities: Along with a good diet, a child needs to be physically active. Encourage your kid to spend more time doing outdoor activities, like running, cycling, playing in the park with friends, etc. Physical activities will energize the child and keep him happy, positive, and motivated.

3. Sleeping on Time: Sufficient amount of sleep and rest is important to regain and refill the energy levels in a child’s body. Good sleep helps the child feel recharged and fresh for the day. Set a sleeping routine for your child and stick to it. Irregular sleeping hours are not good it can make your child irritable and erratic.

4. Washing Hands Before and After Meals: Getting rid of germs hold priority, and parents should teach their kid the importance of washing hands before and after meals. Teach your kid to use handwash or soap to clean the hands and also teach them the correct technique of washing hands. Washing hands regularly can keep germs and infections at bay.

Morning breakfast with nuts or cornflakes or any homely food will help in keeping blood sugar levels in check and keeps your child active and energized.

6. Inculcate Good Reading Habits: Reading is also a very good habit for every child. Reading not only helps in language better, but a child learns to become more creative and creative.

7. Bathing: Where some children are water babies, others children have a water phobia. You must teach them the habit of personal hygiene in your child. It is important to encourage them to bathe daily and after an active session of outdoor activities.

8. Brushing Teeth Twice a Day: Parents should strictly teach their children to follow the habit of brushing twice a day. Good oral hygiene will help them to get out of teeth problems, as teeth are vulnerable to cavities.
