Republic day (26th January’ 2018)
“Be the change you want to see in this world and feel proud to be an Indian.” Many people throughout India celebrate the Nations’ Republic Day which is on January 26 each year. It is a day to remember when India’s constitution came in to force on this date in the year 1950. It is one of the most important national events. So we at Max Valley made it our utmost priority that students of our school should be well aware about this day. Being a kindergarten, it becomes equally difficult to present it in such a way that the kids imbibe the patriotism deep in their hearts. Teachers with the help of their talented students geared up all their efforts and ideas to make if memorable. The blissful morning of 25 th January 2019 commenced with an eventful assembly. The aura was mesmerizing when students were singing patriotic songs and the National Anthem together. Flag hoisting by our honorable director was very encouraging. Students were briefed about the day by our talented teacher. Students then shined on the stage starting with patriotic rhymes in English and Hindi. Students were enlightened about the National symbols through a show and tell act by their peers. It was followed up by an energetic free style dance and Kathak performance. A delightful skit was presented on fundamental rights. Next, students beautifully presented the spirit of unity in diversity through dances of different states. At the end was a pepped up performance which left us speech less by their fervor and vitality. Then program surely left a mark in the minds as well as hearts of one and all present there.
